When it rains, the weather outside gets quite cold. In this cold, the glass of the car window is also a little cold. Then the temperature inside the car is slightly higher than the outside temperature. Due to this, water vapor in the air inside the car condenses when it comes in contact with the window glass. That is seen accumulating on the inside of the car window glass. For the same reason, if you put ice or cold water in a glass, water droplets appear on the outside due to the accumulation of steam.

বৃষ্টি পড়লে বাইরের আবহাওয়া বেশ কিছুটা ঠান্ডা হয়ে যায়। এ ঠান্ডায় গাড়ির জানালার কাচও কিছুটা ঠান্ডা হয়। তখন গাড়ির বাইরের তাপমাত্রার তুলনায় ভেতরের তাপমাত্রা কিছুটা বেশি থাকে। এ কারণে গাড়ির ভেতরের বাতাসের মধ্যে থাকা জলীয়বাষ্প জানালার কাচের সংস্পর্শে এলে জমে ঘন হয়ে যায়। সেটাই গাড়ির জানালার কাচের ভেতরের দিকে জমতে দেখা যায়। ঠিক একই কারণে কোনো গ্লাসে বরফ বা ঠান্ডা পানি রাখলে বাইরের গায়ে বাষ্প জমে বিন্দু বিন্দু পানি দেখা যায়।
